   在汽車(chē)制造領(lǐng)域，小汽車(chē)頂窗等空間曲線(xiàn)的切割技術(shù)都已經(jīng)獲得廣泛應用。德國大眾汽車(chē)公司用功率為500W的激光器切割形狀復雜的車(chē)身薄板及各種曲面件。在航空航天領(lǐng)域，激光切割技術(shù)主要用于特種航空材料的切割，如鈦合金、鋁合金、鎳合金、鉻合金、不銹鋼、氧化鈹、復合材料、塑料、陶瓷及石英等。用激光切割加工的航空航天零部件有發(fā)動(dòng)機火焰筒、鈦合金薄壁機匣、飛機框架、鈦合金蒙皮、機翼長(cháng)桁、尾翼壁板、直升機主旋翼、航天飛機陶瓷隔熱瓦等。

    激光切割成形技術(shù)在非金屬材料領(lǐng)域也有著(zhù)較為廣泛的應用。不僅可以切割硬度高、脆性大的材料，如氮化硅、陶瓷、石英等；還能切割加工柔性材料，如布料、紙張、塑料板、橡膠等，如用激光進(jìn)行服裝剪裁，可節約衣料10%～12%，提高功效3倍以上。
